Completing and Sealing
Once all steps are done, the notary finalizes the notarization.
✓To complete the act, the notary must:
- Fill out the notarial certificate with the correct wording
- Sign the certificate
- Apply the official seal or stamp
The seal makes the notarization official. An incomplete or unsigned certificate is not a valid notarization.
