  • Be patient, pronunciation takes time

  • Use minimal pairs to practice similar sounds

  • Teach grammar in context
  • Keep explanations short
  • Give students time to practice before expecting accuracy

Challenge 3: Fear of Making Mistakes

Many students stay silent because they are afraid of looking foolish.

  • Create a classroom culture where mistakes are normal
  • Never laugh at or embarrass a student
  • Start with low-stakes activities
